ABOUT
Technical projects rarely fall apart on site. They fall apart earlier, at the seam where the budget, the drawings and the actual dimensions of the room stop agreeing with each other. By the time the build starts, that gap already costs money and time nobody has.
That seam is where I stand. I run the technical side of an event in full: matching the project to the venue, building the budget, choosing contractors and holding them to it, answering for the build and for everything switching on at the appointed minute. Creative, catering and guests stay on the client's side.
I did that for fifteen years inside agency teams, where the date does not move and the brand sees the result once: dinner for sixty people in a working observatory, with stargazing alongside astronomers; a forty eight metre media canvas under the ceiling of a hall; a driving day on a Formula 1 circuit with sixteen cars and a guest route through the pit lane. Mercedes, Samsung, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, BMW, Sber, T-Bank.
Now I work directly, and the standard has not changed. A project starts with me walking the venue before anything at all has been ordered, and ends with me on site through the whole build and the whole show.
